About Me
Hi! I am Ashley. Wife to Lieutenant James Cook with the Forsyth County Fire Department and mom to 2 fun-loving, adorable little girls and the owner of Ashley Cook Photography. We have two pups, Jasper the shih-poo and Marshall the Dalmatian and two kitties, Lottie and Sami. We live on our family farm with our pet chickens, ducks, turtles, fish and the farm cows. ACP Studios is also located on the 100+ acre farm where we live allowing for unique photo opportunities no one else offers! Our home on the farm was built in 1912 and we have used the porch for many of our sessions to give an old farm house feel.
In 2008 my photography career began because I wanted to learn how to take beautiful photographs of my own family. I have always had a love and passion for photography and design. Photography opened the door for me to allow my creative side come to life and share it with others. I love to take my clients vision and turn it into reality while pulling in my style and history of work as a design assistant.
I am known as the baby whisperer and have been known to tame the worst of tantrums. I will do whatever it takes to make sure we get that shot. I have laid in creeks, rolled on the grass and chased the wildest of munchkins all to get that perfect shot for my clients!
I have a beautifully equipped studio designed with all of the most up to date props and state of the art lighting. Each year we turn the studio, inside and out into Santa Land! During this time imagination comes to life and even the oldest of children believe in magic all over again! Children and their families come from all over Georgia and some from out of state to experience the one of a kind session we create. It is more than a simple session. Our sets are a full interactive experience that will not soon be forgotten by your little one!
While a lot of our photography is done at the studio location, I do use many places outside of the studio property. From Atlanta to Dahlonega I have so many unique and beautiful spots that can cater to your vision.
